What I do in biology lab

Someone recently asked me what I do in my anatomy and physiology lab. I brought my camera along tonight and was delighted/horrified that in this lab session we were comparing sheep uteruses with and without lamb fetuses inside. There was a lot of sad girls in my lab. Click the photo for much, much, much more graphic photos.

  1. Not that there was any doubt before, but this is definitely the program for you.

  2. My lab TA (an RN getting her Masters) openly questioned the value of dissecting sheep uteruses. Not that we would dissect human uteruses instead, but still.

I didn't find the exercise fun or entertaining, I'm not that dark, but taking pictures and pointing out the tiny hooves was better than working with plastic or computer models.
