Your story is very similar to what I just we...Whew! Your story is very similar to what I just went through recently. I got my stitches popped open at my surgeon's office two weeks after surgery. No topical painkillers though. She just went right in. My pride in my high pain tolerance was severely tested. <BR/>You were such a brave kid!
